THE WORDS FOR
ARCHITECTURE

12 Dec, 2020—30 May, 2021

  • Junzo Yoshimura “” photo by KenjiSeo

This exhibition was inspired by the spirit of Michizo Tachihara.

The atmosphere of the house created by the architect who continued to face the house,
The essence of the space that shakes the senses is revealed through the works sung by literary artists.
We are planning an exhibition structure that crosses the fields of architecture and literary arts.

Shuntaro Tanikawa will create a new poem about “Mr. Tanikawa’s house” designed by Kazuo Shinohara.

In addition, the poet Mimi Hachikai experienced and wrote the house of Junzo Yoshimura, and the poet Masayo Koike also experienced and wrote the house of Yoshifumi Nakamura.

From more than 20 architectural models in the housing design process, sketches, drawings and videos
At the same time as experiencing the age of living, we will approach the physicality of the process of creating space.

From the words spun by literary artists, we will create opportunities to enrich our eyes on the space in which people live.
